I run several sets of lights on my Disco, it has heated seats, heated front and rear windows, an extra stereo amp, a winch and I occasionally pull a camper trailer that has a constant 12v draw charging its onboard battery and running the fridge. My PB alternator NEVER fails to keep up. It can power every single thing running at the same time without any issue at all. Heck, I could probably do some stick welding with it if I had to!

My stock alternator failed and I already had a PB alternator in another vehicle that I'm super impressed with. Why not use one in my Superduty too?! This thing never misses a beat and keeps both my batteries fully charged. I run many thousands of miles a year pulling our travel trailer and my PB alternator has no problem powering the truck and running the camper's fridge all day long. Install was a breeze through the front fender well - no need to follow the "procedure" and remove coolant hoses and all that - just take out the fender liner and pop in the new alternator I recommend Power Bastards' alternators over OEM for every application!

To be honest, I contacted the "big" names that the audio industry seemed to push on the masses. Talked with one and they stated they would custom build an alternator for my 2009 Ford Escape Limited because they did not have one in stock at the moment.They had a couple of options for Escapes but none for my model I was thrilled that they were going to custom build from the ground up. Well I ordered and it was a good bit more expensive than the PB alt. I was tracking it getting to me and the day before it was to arrive i started to pain in the butt job of removing the OEM alt. It is at the bottom of the motor and a pain to remove. The next day it arrived. I opened it and it was wrong. Nothing matched in mounting and was quite a bit larger. They did nothing but send a HO alt for a Ford. Did not build me one from the ground up. Just yanked one off the shelf and shipped. Well I sent it back. Reinstalled my OEM and found Power Bastards. Shipping was fast and when it arrived it was a carbon copy of the OEM alt and installed perfectly. Plug in and play The Alt works as claimed and I have not had an issue what so ever. I have confidence in saying to not believe the hype from the audio industry that only xyz alts are the best because it just isn't true. I am glad to have found Power Bastard's and they are now my go to for my vehicles charging needs. Give them a shot, you will not be disappointed!

I read reviews all around the web ranging from bad bad to perfect. Those reviews saying stay far far away are completely false and makes me wonder if they have dirty competitors slandering power bastards name. I couldn't be more happy with purchase of 220a alternator for my 2004 Subaru outback h6 3.0 , no more voltage drop and my system is louder and cleaner running 2200 watts rms and not the slightest bit of lights dimming.

One thing I will say tho is my particular alternator I received came with a pulley with only 4 grooves in it and had a width of 18mm while my OEM alternator had 5 grooves and was 22mm width. I didn't notice this at first and shredded my serpentine belt. Luckily I was able to swap pulleys being that they had same diameter and new belt was 30$ so no big deal.

All around great product p.s. looks like they have a diff looking alternator now and pic seems to show a pulley with 5 grooves.

At first I was hesitant on buying from reviews the previous years but I saw the good quality on it and it for sure performs better than a stock one.

I bought this alternator to help reduce the electrical strain from my sound system in my car. Direct fitment same as factory, no additional stuff needed to fit. It works amazingly and keeps my voltage at 14.4v and only allows dips to around 13.5v with a 3000w system with an agm battery. Definitely recommend for anyone who needs more power for any additional stuff. Shipping it came packed nice and safely, definitely packed with care and consideration.

This unit works great to run my 50a DC-DC charger for the lithium batteries in my travel trailer! Even charges the trailer batteries at idle.

There's some negative reviews out there, but you're going to mostly hear only from the guys that had an issue. I bought this over 3 years ago, it was sitting on the shelf and JUST got around to installing it when my OEM alternator failed this past weekend! It was amazing to have the part needed on-hand and to have the upgraded output +100A over the OEM 150A unit as a result! I knew I was going to be in "uncharted territory" if I had a problem but I wanted to provide my unsolicited feedback and say that it works perfectly, I haven't had a chance to use a clamp meter on it but the voltage is steady as I turned up the stereo and flipped on every heated accessory I had (including a 600w heated windsheild). It was VERY impressive to me!

I just want to say a BIG THANKS to PowerBastards High Output Alternators. Another company made me a 250amp and it came built with the plug on the wrong side and ghosted me🙄 Their loss. I'll be going with you guys for all Alternators going forward.🫡

Just got the 370 amp and big 3 installed in my 13 f250 6.2 flex. No more amp drop when the bass hits... love it great product easy install.

Im shocked. I just got it in today and it took about a hour to remove the OEM alternator, and install this beast. I know everyone has experienced the "headlight dim" as the bass hits. Especially the old school high current cheater amps from the early 2000s. I needed the extra juice. I added inverters and about 1600 watts in my stereo. So this was a must. I changed the factory power and ground to 1/0 awg ofc wire. Used loom the protect the wires. No need for a smaller serpentine belt. Thats is pretty frigging awesome. My only gripe is not getting a powder coating. Being cheap . Although its not necessary. I wish I got it in a powder coat just for the protection here in the north east . . Everyone who needs a good powerful electrical system in their vehicles SHOULD GET THIS. If anyone runs a bunch of high amp accessories . You cant beat 320 amps at about 1800rpms ! ! in my jeep. A little more than idle. The meter don't lie. I was getting 290 to 325 as I played with the gas pedal with taps. Just parked. Crazy .
